Jacek Wislocki - Tenor


Tenor Jacek Wislocki is acclaimed as a specialist in Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque music, and as a gifted interpreter of the music of the 19th and 20th centuries. Internationally recognised as both a soloist and ensemble singer, Jacek has performed leading roles with numerous companies appearing as a soloist at many international festivals and in hundred of concerts throughout Europe, in Baroque repertoire particularly. Jacek is especially well known for his performances of the Evangelist in the St John and St Matthew Passions of Bach. As a member of the National Chamber Choir of Ireland he has made recordings for RTÉ and the BBC and has toured Brazil, China and Europe. Recent solo engagements have included, Handel’s Messiah, Bach’s St. John and St. Matthew Passions and the Christmas Oratorio; Mozart's Vespers, Requiem and C minor Mass; Schutz’s Christmas History, the Verdi Requiem, Rachmaninov Vespers and Arvo Part’s Stabat Mater at RTÉ Living Music Festival.
