Tristan Caldwell - after careful evaluation - decided to follow his passion for singing and enrolled in the foundation course in DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama having previously studied Business at the Athlone Institute of Technology and then worked in the insurance sector. Tristan has performed in such works as Handel’s Messiah, the Beethoven Mass in C, Haydn’s Creation, the Schubert’s Mass in A flat and the Fauré Requiem. Recently Tristan toured Northern Italy performing the role of Don Pasquale in Donizetti’s opera of the same name. He currently sings with both the National Chamber Choir, New Dublin Voices and Resurgam. Tristan has been with the Palestrina Choir since September 2008 and enjoys hugely both the musicianship and camaraderie of the Gentlemen on display every Wednesday evening and Sunday morning.
